Audio examples of projects recorded at Mantis Audio
Songwriter Demo
Songwriter & guitarist Mike Brady created his original song This Ramblin’ Man utilizing midi technology in combination with recorded performances Mike played & recorded all the guitar parts along with a midi sequence he provided for the rhythm section. A session keyboardist added the organ tracks and a vocalist with a distinctive southern-rock style provided the vocals to his lyrics. The finished track was submitted to song publishing companies.
Big Production
Just Like Me illustrates some of the creative, sonic and production possibilities here at Mantis. Composer and performer D Cozzens constructed this original song with only 2 guitars, 2 microphones, 1 keyboard, some drum loops, 4 pieces of external processing gear and a top-notch session keyboardist. The audio collage at the heart of the song was fabricated from public domain clips found on the Internet.
Solo Artist
Songwriter, pianist & vocalist Matthew Wilson recorded his original song, She Crossed My Mind Today, using only an 88-key keyboard controller, a midi sound module and his voice.
Radio Commercial Voiceover
Voiceover talent Sara Eden scripted and recorded her radio commercial for the Rosa Rosa Restaurant over a bed of vintage jazz guitar music. Her goal was to produce something smooth and inviting with a distinctive vintage vibe.
